Blocked Drains in Toowoomba
Sink backing up, toilet gurgling, or a smell you can't place? We put a camera down the pipe, find the cause, and clear it properly.
Signs you've got a blocked drain
Slow-draining sinks and showers. Gurgling when the toilet flushes. A bad smell near the drains or out in the yard. Any one of those means a blockage forming; more than one fixture playing up at once usually means it's deep in the main sewer line, and that's a job for a licensed plumber, not a bottle of drain cleaner.
How we clear blocked drains
We start with CCTV drain camera inspections, so we know exactly where the blockage sits and what's causing it before anything gets cleared. You can watch the footage yourself. Then high-pressure water jetting cuts through grease, sludge and tree roots without damaging the pipe. If the camera shows a cracked or collapsed section, you'll see it on screen and get an upfront price on the repair before we dig.
The usual culprits in Toowoomba homes are tree roots growing into older clay pipes, grease build-up in kitchen lines, and foreign objects flushed down toilets. We always confirm the cause with the camera rather than guessing, so the fix actually lasts.
Houses, rentals and business kitchens
Older Toowoomba homes with clay sewer lines are our bread and butter. We also clear drains for rental properties and property managers, commercial kitchens with greasy lines, and rural properties where the blockage sits between the house and the septic.

What a blocked drain costs
It depends on the cause and how deep it sits. A straightforward clear is a small job; a collapsed pipe that needs excavation is a bigger one, and pretending otherwise is how people get burnt. We inspect first, tell you which situation you're in, and quote before starting. The dollar figures are in the FAQ below.
Why the camera matters
Plenty of drains get "cleared" blind and block again a month later. Because we diagnose with CCTV drain camera inspections every time, the cause gets fixed rather than poked through.
That approach is a big part of the 4.9-star rating across Google and Facebook, and it's backed by a 12-month workmanship warranty.
(Note: tree-root and misuse reblockages are excluded under our terms; we tell you that upfront too.)
Blocked drain questions
How much does it cost to clear a blocked drain?
It depends on the cause and how deep the blockage is. A simple clear costs a lot less than a collapsed pipe needing excavation. We inspect first and give you an upfront price before starting, billed against our standard rate of $135+GST per hour.
Can I clear a blocked drain myself?
A plunger might shift a minor sink blockage. Chemical cleaners can damage pipes, though, and a blocked main sewer needs a licensed plumber with a camera and jetter. If multiple drains are slow at once, call us.
How do you find where the blockage is?
With a CCTV drain camera that travels through the pipe and shows exactly where the blockage sits and what's causing it. You can see the footage too.
Do tree roots really block drains?
Yes, it's one of the most common causes in older Toowoomba properties. Roots find cracks in pipe joints and grow inside. Jetting clears them, and the camera tells us if the pipe itself needs repair.
Do you offer emergency blocked drain callouts?
For existing clients, yes, around the clock, with a call-out fee for after-hours work. If you're new to us, call during business hours, Monday to Friday, and we'll get you booked in.
Drain not draining?
Call now and tell Luke which fixtures are backing up. Camera in, cause found, cleared properly.
