Where we started
Luke's Plumbing & Gas has been a part of the Toowoomba community since 1993. What started as a small operation grew into one of the region's most trusted plumbing and gas fitting businesses, built on hard work and genuine service.
Luke did his apprenticeship in the trade, then spent another four years working alongside his boss before the opportunity came to take over the business in 2008. It was the natural next step for someone who'd already given his working life to the trade.
Where we are today
With over 25 years of hands-on experience, Luke continues to operate as a small business by choice. Every job gets his full attention, from the initial phone call through to the final clean-up. No shortcuts, no sending someone else.
Today the business services the greater Toowoomba region and the Darling Downs within about 80km. One week that's straightforward tap repairs; the next it's gas installations, septic systems and excavation work with our own 1.7-tonne excavator and tipper truck.

How long has the business been running?
Luke's Plumbing & Gas was originally established in 1993. Luke took over ownership in 2008 and has run it ever since, over 18 years as owner-operator.
Is Luke fully licensed?
Yes. Luke holds all required plumbing and gas fitting licences for Queensland, and every job is completed to Australian standards and local regulations.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, the business carries full public liability and professional indemnity insurance. You're covered from the moment we step onto your property.
What areas do you cover?

Do you work on commercial properties?
Yes, we handle both residential and commercial plumbing and gas work. A home kitchen gets the same standard as a commercial fit-out, a backflow test or a grease trap service.
